right about now...

I am listening to three bands.

Fireworks

Pop-Punk from Detroit and signed to Triple Crown records who put out the first Brand New albums. They have two albums to date and are ear candy to the extreme. They also have a song ('Geography') that features the line 'I'll be your Tectonic plate'. Sold.

Bombay Bicycle Club

They have a new album coming out and I got tickets to see them in the Autumn. That just gives me even more reasons to listen to one of Britain’s best indie bands. Both their electrifying debut and the toned down, folky (but none of that Mumford shit) second LP are worth a check out. For me 'I Had The Blues...' edges it. Just.

Naysayer

Tradition NYHC in almost every sense (except not being from New York). You can almost see the Agnostic Front tats they have as you listen to their music. That being said, they are a blisteringly good hardcore band. I mentioned when talking about Touché Amore yesterday that hardcore is something most people need to 'get into' before they can fully appreciate it. Well once you do, you will appreciate this band a hell of a lot.
