I could write something funny about Scotland, but I won't for two reasons:
1) people in Scotland are a lot more tougher than I am
2) I'm not actually that funny, and anything I write would be too moronic seeing as I am a big southern jessie who is sort of jealous that they have so many good bands coming out the moment.
But enough of that aside, Scotland has got some amazing bands coming out at the moment from EP's, Demo's and Full Lengths, so here is a compact little list of bands you should check out, from our neighbours in the North.
Offside: Floorpunch style hardcore about football? For charity? Consider me sold.
Heavy Hands: heavy heavy heavy, EP coming out this month, mosh to the death
Trial and Error: their demo is beastly (much like the song "grizzly bear") heavy mosh
No Fun: drink a can of tennants and thrash till you puke
Harold Shitman: straight edge power violence, 100% backed on name alone.
Your Move: hardcore the straight forward way, simples!
Notebooks: more fast riffment, a few songs on Facebook which are all destined to melt your face.
Cerebal Bore: had an album out, grind for all my long-haired friend who read this blog.
So there you go, get on it, listen to it and book a ticket to Glasgow and mosh in their ice-rink
