5 Songs With Girls Names

Boredom is a deadly thing, it can drive you to do anything to alleviate it regardless of how trivial it is, with this in mind we present to you a jazzy new segment called: 5 songs with ______ where we pick 5 songs on a chosen category and waffle about them bit...

So without any further procrastination I present to you: 5 Songs With Girls Names

1) Megan - Bayside
Regardless of the fact this is merely an acoustic cover by a band called "Smoking Popes" it's certainly one of my favorite covers (by one of my favorite bands), and the fact you can instantly recognize the dude from Bayside's warbling voice, you know it's going to be a treat.

2) Judy And The Dream Of Horses - Belle and Sebastian
Scotland's finest twee pop/indie genius' put this song out all the way back in 1996, but it's still as crisp and authentic today, and the lyrics are classically B&S full of dreamy verses and an infectious chorus.

3) Melanie And A Slight Fear Of Flying - Man Overboard
I love MOB, almost to the point where 14 year old fat girls get a bit freaked out about it (I'm not a tr00 pop punk guy mind) and this song was put out on an EP sometime last year, and is laced with "geeky" references to SPs and WOW but it's sugary and angsty so it has me sold.

4) Britney - Busted
If you didn't like Busted when you were a child, you are clearly too young to remember them, too much of a McFly fan, or like 70% of people, missing the fact they were trying to be a pop-punk band and just ended up being marketed as a "rock boyband" but regardless of these facts, this album goes hard and this song should transport you to a time when Ms. Spears was still hot and like 19 and finding naked images of her using dial up seemed like a great idea. Oh to be 10 again.

5) Leanna Legor - Hester Prynne
It wouldn't be an Eazynoiz feature if I didn't include some B-Rate 2000's deathcore, and although they were highly forgettable this album still ticks all my boxes for the sort of prime rate deathcore that used to be around: pig squeals, mouth farts, slams and more sub-drops than humanly imaginable.

Honorable mentions go to: Roxanne - The Police and Josie - Blink 182
