No Zodiac/Defeated Sanity Pre-orders Put Up For New Year

Today has been a very good day for people who own sweatpants and like getting freaky when they go to shows, as Defeated Sanity and No Zodiac have just put their pre-orders up for their new releases, more details below.

You remember No Zodiac right? that band that did the video of the playing in the warehouse in balaclavas with all the pentagrams and the ridiculous mosh quote that felt like something in the universe was collapsing? Well their back and have just released a teaser for their new album "population control" which you can listen to below, and all I can say is that it is possibly one of the most ridiculously heavy sounding things commited to record and the bass tone sounds like someone is playing it with the bass strings close to falling off. Listen to this, then pre-order the new album with the ski-mask and go stand outside the window of a girl you like and shout the lyrics to "posi-holocaust" at her till she either calls the police or falls in love with you.

If you like me, like your crushing brutal death metal without all that ridiculous overt gore front covers and lyrics that basically make the band look like a bunch of rejected 28 year old long-hair virgins with serious girl complexes then defeated sanity should be right up your street, not exactly breaking the mould in anyway but managing to stay consitently good without compromising on their production (say no to polished over produced slam metal) and still remaining spine meltingly slammy, the album drops on the 7th of Feburary and is well worth a full listen if not a purchase. Buy some tracksuit bottoms, lift some weights and cut your hair and spend 2013 perfect your euro-mosh bobbing as this will certainly be the soundtrack to it
