Chase and Status

For those of you who don't know, Chase and Status (or 'Chase & Status' if you're that way inclined) are a Dubstep/Drum and Bass duo from London, end of. I'm not going to wax lyrical about them, but rather just post this video, which is a pretty sic remix of White Lie's 'Death' by....you'll never guesse...Chase and Status..

Burn Down Rome:



Another 'heavier' band today, following on from Hang The Bastard, its Burn Down Rome, a Hardcore band from London.

They're a hardcore band but not as rifftastic as say Gallows. They're a bit more melodic, less chunky riffs, more extended guitar lines and time signature changes.

Now I mentioned Gallows specifically because, well, the singer sounds EXACTLY like Frank Carter from Gallows, like he could be a dead split voice wise...which is by no means a bad thing, but just because of that, don't list pigeon hole Burn Down Rome as a 'Gallowsalike' or something dumb, cos they're easily as good, if not (considering the mehness of Grey Britain, Gallow's second album) better.

So they have an album out, 'Devotion' which you can listen to on Spotify, or alternatively if you're lazy, hear a couple of tracks off it on their MySpace, linked bellow :)

In summary then, hardcore but not so heavy, like the evil love child of early nineties emo and Black Flag...with Frank Carter singing...
